THE SITUATION

The spirits industry is an increasingly competitive world, and brands that are innovating to deliver their consumers engaging and entertaining experiences are outperforming the rest. Phillips Distilling was looking to innovate its popular UV vodka brand to engage and create excitement with consumers.

THE SOLUTION

We utilized groundbreaking advancements in photochromic (sunlight-activated) inks to redesign the UV Vodka brand and help deliver on its “Vodka for a More Colorful Life” positioning in a way that engages, entertains and makes it something people are excited to share with others.

THE EXECUTION

A show stopping end-to-end experience, designed for both the times when the labels are activated (in the sunlight) and when they are not (on the shelf, indoors). The UV bottle literally transforms in front of consumers' eyes from a bold, premium, minimalist look to a vibrant, energetic and mesmerizing one, serving up the ultimate insta-moment.

THE RESULTS

After the successful launch of the flagship product, UV Vodka rolled out the new look across its entire line of flavored vodkas.
